This joyful hymn celebrates the supreme delight and bliss present wherever the Divine Mother is worshipped. The repeated refrain 'Anandam shudhu anandam' emphasizes that pure, unbroken joy is the essence of her presence.

The verses describe the different aspects of the Mother’s presence: where her name is chanted, it becomes a realm of bliss; where her songs are sung, love and devotion flourish; where her stories are told, there is no sorrow; where her wisdom is imparted, anger vanishes. In her maternal world, sadness disappears, and where her divine emotions are experienced, immortality and spiritual joy are found.

The hymn further glorifies the form of Sharada Devi, the beautiful Mother, who resides in the hearts of her devotees. Holding her lovingly in one’s lap and calling her 'Ma, Ma' brings joy to all. The communal chanting of her name unites everyone in bliss. The hymn concludes by urging devotees to worship and chant the Mother’s name, assuring that wherever her name is remembered, it becomes a source of divine joy, peace, and spiritual delight.
