This hymn is a devotional morning salutation offered to Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, revered as the universal mother and the divine spiritual companion of Sri Ramakrishna. The hymn praises her as the embodiment of the Supreme Divine Power (Shakti) and as the compassionate mother who incarnated to remove the suffering of the world. It recalls her sacred role in the life of Sri Ramakrishna, especially how she came to serve him with purity, devotion, and complete self-surrender, despite worldly misunderstandings about his divine state. The verses highlight her spiritual greatness, describing how she served Sri Ramakrishna with perfect purity of body, mind, and speech, supporting his highest spiritual realizations and sharing in his divine mission. She is praised as the spiritual mother recognized by Sri Ramakrishna himself as the very embodiment of the Divine Mother who liberates beings from worldly bondage. The hymn also reflects on her extraordinary humility and simplicity, as she lived an outwardly ordinary life while silently bearing the burdens and sorrows of countless devotees, guiding them with infinite patience and compassion. Her daily actions, even simple household tasks, are described as expressions of divine power hidden within her gentle human form. Finally, she is revered as the protector of devotees, the giver of liberation, and the living embodiment of divine motherhood for the entire world. Chanting this suprabhatam is a way of remembering her boundless compassion, purity, and spiritual strength, while offering a prayer that her grace may awaken devotion, peace, and spiritual awakening in all beings.
